Autumn garden

As August draws to a close the garden goes through lots of changes.  The petunias are getting leggy, and the spring pansies have finally given up the ghost.  Lots of perennials have been cut way back, but a few are still blooming, and the bees are busy buzzing around them getting the last drops of goodness from each flower.
We moved a pot of petunias from the back yard, to a bare spot in the front garden, and added two pots of fall mums.  There, that looks better. 
The back garden has lots of petunias to spare, so one or two pots moved out front works.
Yes, the September 1st garden looks just fine front and back.
