Here is the last of the wedding photos...a close-up of Danica's bouquet. Beautiful huh? A treasure she will keep forever.
On another unrelated note, I have torn a tendon in my right hand and that makes for rather difficult keyboarding, so on doctor's orders I will give the hand a complete rest for a week or so and will hopefully be back to my blog in a week or so. See you again after Thanksgiving!
Pour yourself a fresh hot cup of tea, that delicious brew from the old Brown Betty teapot, and join me for a relaxing chat.

Post wedding
OK, that's it...or almost...for wedding pictures. I do want to post a picture of Danica's bouquet, but it has been missing-in-action for the past few days so I don't have it on the camera yet. I hope to post it tomorrow, then I am done with the wedding pics.
This was taken one morning last week while waiting for the bus to arrive. These guys sure do make mornings lively.

Sensitive Soul...and a moment to remember.
A sombre moment, of remembering loved ones not on this earth anymore, was called for amidst all the fun on Sarah's wedding day. When we got to our assigned table and waited for the program to begin, we noticed this wedding favor at each place.
Danica asked about the names on the leaf attached to this little nest, and we tried to explain to her who the people were, and why they weren't at the wedding,
Maria
Mike's mom, passed away after a long battle with cancer in June 2012
Seana
Sarah's cousin, passed away after a long battle with cancer in May 2012
Elisabeth
Sarah's little sister, passed away suddenly from a rogue virus that attacked her heart in March 1993. She was only 5 years old.
This was long before we had digital cameras and lots of pictures to choose from, or blog posts to link to, so I have posted a picture below of Sarah and Ben with Elisabeth, from the early 90's.
We remembered you and missed you dear hearts.
Almost a week after we got home from the wedding, Danica was busy at the kitchen table working on this card. When asked what it was, she informed her mom that it was a card she wanted to send to heaven for Maria, Seana and Elisabeth.
What a tender heart this little one has.

She was very sad that they weren't here. She especially missed her cousin Elisabeth |
