Sleepover fun

Smudge came for a sleepover on the weekend, and even though she slept soundly through the night, she got us up before 6am. Yawn! She thinks it is just grand to sleep in the big bed with Amma when she comes for a sleepover.
Lots of time is spent in the den with Buppa looking at music videos. Here she is intently watching a video instructing her how to play a Celtic whistle. At least I think that is what it is. She also watched some of people playing accordions, violins and bagpipes. Then it was on to dancing. Riverdance is one of her favorites. She watches them over and over again and wants to get up on the stage and dance with them. I think I see dance lessons in the near future for her.
She then moved on to hairdressing activities. She thought Mommy's old doll, Saranella, needed a new do.
This old doll is over thirty years old and has seen better days, but still has perfect hair for little hands to brush, comb and arrange barrettes in.

Sleepovers are such fun at any age, my great niece is 13 and we have been having them for 13 years. Smudge has good taste, I love the bagpipes although I haven't always.
