Glorious, relaxing holiay...

Yes, we are on holiday and are staying pretty close to home this year, but are treating ourselves to an outing each day. I am lovin' it! Picnics in the park; evening coffee sitting by the water; dinner and a movie in the big city; exploring roads we have never been down before;...and maybe a shopping trip or two; has been the order of each and every day. And, the best part is going home to sleep in our own bed each night, enjoying a lazy morning in our cozy sun-porch the next day, then heading out for another day of adventure.

I do love our local park, and enjoy sitting on my favorite bench by the water's edge after a stroll along the path. With a Tim's coffee in hand, I settle in to soak in the cool evening air...
and drink in the view.
What a nice way to end the day...and almost in our own back yard.

We have another week to gallivant, then it is back to the normal daily routine. Each one makes the other more enjoyable. Hope you are enjoying a glorious, relaxing summer too.
