Glorious Weekend

The sun shone brightly all weekend and it was glorious indeed. If you look closely you will see that we still have a huge pile of snow on the front lawn, but it is shrinking fast, and the temps were warm enough yesterday morning for us to have our coffee and toast out on the front porch. Gloriosky! What a nice way to start the day.

We drove over to visit the kids after lunch and found the whole family outside enjoying the sunshine. The wind was cold, so The Smudge was all bundled up for her walk around the block with mom, but once they got home and found a protected spot on the front porch, hats and coats were soon discarded.

Here she is, making friends with the little girl she sees reflected in the window.

Yes, it was a glorious weekend indeed. Such a treat after the loooong snowy winter we have had.
