Story Time

This has been a busy week for us so my blog has been rather quiet. AC is working on a web page for the A-Team and I am enjoying my new art class, and tend to loose track of time when working on my assignments. No matter what else is on the agenda though, we always try to find time to squeeze in a visit with The Smudge whenever we can. She brings sunshine to any cloudy day, and we are so thankful that we live close enough to stop in and soak some of it in almost every day.

She is a very active child and wiggles, squirms, squiggles, twists, bounces, kicks, and moves, moves, moves all the time. Keeps us on our toes she does. We were quite surprised the other day when we were there, and she actually stopped and read a book with Grandpa. AC was trying to read a computer book and Smudge went right over to him to see what he was up to. He quickly put the computer book away and picked up one of her board books to distract her from his. She stood beside him for the longest time, listening to the story, turning the pages and taking his hand to help him point at different pictures on the page.

She really liked the Humpty Dumpty page, and kept turning back to it. Cute huh?

The world is full of wonder for her and we so enjoy sharing it with her.

I hope you have a weekend full of wonder, and enjoy a walk or two in the sunshine.
