After naps and lunch, the kids are usually happy to play together outside on a sunny day or inside on a rainy one. I always have a book to dive into at just such times. The only problem is, that as soon as I pick up a book, there they are, right at my feet. I call it
Book-dar!

I end up reading the same paragraph over and over again because my train of thought is broken again and again. So, I give up and we sing a song or play a game. I'll read my book when I get home.

I remember trying to read a Ken Follett book when Em was small---futile.
