We picked the kids up from school the other day, and JJ insisted on carrying his own backpack. When I saw him struggling to keep in on his shoulders I offered to carry it for him.
"No thanks Amma" was his reply. Before we got into the car we just had to stop for a picture...

J boy, sweet as hie is, looks just like a turtle.
Lorna - I know, all but his head was completely swallowed up by the backpack. He was moving rather slowly too, as the pack seemed to be pulling him back with every step he took. Goodness he makes me laugh.
