Pouring rain today, but delightful memories of our first ride of the season last week brighten the morning and fill me with the hope of more sunny days to come.
We stopped in to see Butterfly on the way home from our ride and were greeted with this sight for sore eyes in her side yard.
Ice is still on the lake, but crocuses are popping up in the garden and the bikes have been taken out for a spin. Sweet!

Thumbs Up! Crocuses and bikes. Now, that's what we went to see! Right?
Right! Right! Right!!!!!!!
Ah well, this too shall pass.

Yes! and watch out for hungry squirrels.
Laura form Someplace in New Jersey left this poem on my blog. I loved it with you as you celebrate their charm.
"First a howling blizzard woke us,
Then the rain came down to soak us,
And now before the eye can focus -
Crocus."
Meant to say "I loved it and leave it with you . . .:0)" Sleep deprivation at work here.
Cathy - Love it too. Thanks.
We are having the "rain to soak us" today, so even the cute little crocus munching squirrels are hiding.
I think it is perfect afternoon for a nap. Grab your blankie and join me - zzzzzzzz!
It's lovely to see the crocuses in bloom, glad you enjoyed your ride, shame you've now got rain, we are actually enjoying a little sunshine here in the UK, but its v. cold.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Can spring be far away? I love the flowers.
You've got more spring than we do. Bike rides are the BEST!
I cannot wait to get out and ride! I need to get home first, though.
