Blizzard but no BABY!

What is with this weather? I woke up and looked out the window this morning and couldn't believe my eyes. Thick heavy snow on everything and still more coming down. Am I in the Twilight Zone? Is this really January, and I just think it is April and the baby is due? Sheesh!

Time is dragging for us, so I can only imagine how long the weekend was for Butterfly and The Boy. I ran away into my book and drank gallons of tea and coffee while I traveled forward and back in time with all the characters there. AC watched lots of hockey playoff games to pass the time away but Butterfly found it hard to settle to do much of anything.

So we continue to wait. I will keep you all posted...stay tuned.

How much slower the clock ticks when you are waiting. Keep the tea steeped and stay dry.

Cuppa - I can't blame the baby for waiting out the snow. But I keep imagining the stories that you'll all be telling her down the years about how she brightened an otherwise very unusual Spring.

And with those gallons of tea and coffee on board, I'll bet you were drifting forward and back in more than time :0)

That baby's waiting for spring, too! I keep checking for the news.

4pm Monday and all is quiet!

Marm - Maybe there is still time, but I have my doubts. Smudge seems pretty comfy right where she is right now and isn't making any moves. Sigh!

Dave - so right you are. Tick, tick, tick... Tea does help to calm ones nerves though so I am keeping plenty on hand.

Cathy - she is one smart baby already isn't she. She is comfy and cozy right where she is and we really can't blame her for not wanting to face this snow and cold.

You are so funny. I did do a lot of drifting back and forth to the "little room"!

Pam - I hope she brings spring with her. That would be nice wouldn't it?

Laurie - thanks for thinking of us and caring. Joy shared is doubled and it is nice to know that friends out in "blogdom" share this joy with us.

A good book will make the hours fly by. You must freak out when the phone rings, ey?

Baby will referred to as "BB" Blizzard Baby. Corny, I know.
