Big Event
Yes, a visit from the recycling truck is a big even for Smudge. She watches them come down the street, then loves to go out and talk to the guys on the truck as they work in front of the house...
...then she helps Buppa carry in the bins before she heads down the street after the tuck to watch the guys as they continue on their route.

The garbage guys must be pretty cute because the smell of a garbage truck is aaaaaaaawful!

Bernie - it's fun now, but I wonder what she will think in a few years if she is asked to bring in the bins.
Mary - I think they are pretty cute actually. They are really nice with Smudge too. They usually put the truck through its paces for her and she loves to watch the side go up and down. It makes lots of noise and its fun to see all the smaller bins empty into the larger one on top of the truck.
