As I said in past posts, Smudge always wants to help when I start to work at the kitchen counter. We make quite a mess most times and it takes twice as long to get anything done, but messes can always be cleaned up, and what better way is there for us to spend our time, so we work together on our projects, and make some wonderful memories. After all, it's the making of memories that is important, and we have been making some delicious ones. MMMMMM, sweet!
Speaking of sweet memories, there are big ones stitched into this apron that Smudge is wearing. My mother made it for Thesha - Daughter #1, when she needed a craft apron for nursery school almost 40 years ago.
Thesha wore it and so did Althegal - Daughter #2. Now it looks as good as new for Granddaughter #1.
After we put the muffins in the oven we decided to decorate the Helping Stool.
Smudge got right into the creative activity.
Her Great-Grandma, my mother, would have been so proud of Smudge, and would have loved her to pieces. I wonder if Smujdge is going to be creative like her Great-Grandma.
Something tells me yes!

Doesn't that stool make a super desk/chair? And aren't you one creative Granny! :)
Jinksy - it does make a great desk/chair combo for little artists. Of course Jboy thinks it's a tractor, but wherever their imagination takes them is fine with me.
Just read back over your own posts---a creative, loving, determined child. And quite lovable.
