Day 3 - Rosh Hashanah at the schul

We accompanied D3 to the synagogue the next morning for Rosh Hashanah services. Obviously I don't have any pictures of the services to share with you, but it was a very beautiful and moving service. Even if I couldn't understand the words, I certainly understood the meaning and felt the power of what was said. Thanks for including us D3!!

Later that afternoon while D3 was still at the synagogue, D2 and I went to the beach and enjoyed a cup of tea in the sunshine while the cool winds buffeted us a bit.
The building with the yellow balconies behind us is the A Team's building.

We had a fabulous view didn't we?

You must be very close to your daughters. That is a good thing.

Very nice photos Cuppa. It was nice to see you enjoying time with your daughter! And the last photo looked like a beautiful place to be!

Qmmm - Yes, they were great kids and have grown into beautiful adults who I now count as friends.

Diana - It was a VERY beautiful place. The ocean right at our doorstep, mountains all around, and Stanley Park just up the street. We enjoyed blue skies and sunshine for the whole trip, and the activities the girls had planned for us were informative, interesting and entertaining. We had a fab time, but now I need to catch up on my sleep. Yawn! This old girl went full out on very little sleep for 11 days and now I she must re-group and refresh. ZZZZZZZ!
