Helping Buppa make pancakes

Seeing as it was Pancake Tuesday this week, we stayed at the kid's place for dinner that night and cooked pancakes for supper. Both munchkins had to climb up on their helping stools and give Buppa a hand in the kitchen.
Cracking eggs, mixing pancake batter...
and just generally keeping an eye on things.
Here we see the pan full of batter ready to go in the oven.
Now, while the pancakes are cooking it is time to dance...
and look pretty.

Now I'm intrigued...by pancakes cooked in an oven? New one on me, a confirmed griddle/tosser on the hotplate!

Jinksy - Me too, I am a pancake-flipper-on-the-griddle type gal, but Thesha places all the batter in a deep stoneware pan and bakes it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350. It comes out of the oven looking like a cake. We cut it in squares, pour on fresh maple syrup, and chow down. Each pancake doesn't have crispy edges, but they are light and fluffy and we all get to sit down and eat at the same time. Who knew?

Now I get it, I was just asking AC how he prepared them for the oven.
They do sound like less work...Hugs
