It was cold and rainy yesterday morning but the kids wanted to go out and play in the yard anyway. After hunting up boots, warm socks, sweaters and raincoats they both got dressed and headed out the door.
I no sooner got the door closed when I heard a little voice crying out
Amma! My hands are cold and I want to come in!
So, in they came, dry clothes were hunted up for everyone and a nice warm and dry indoor activity was found for them to do.
Ahhh, colouring, that's better.
Jboy thought it was MUCH better.

How many times I remember thinking I had a chance to read, with one eye out the window of course, only to find that after all the getting ready to go out, it was time to get ready to come in....

I remember being exhausted after putting on snowsuits, hats, scarves and boots only to have to take them off 5 minutes later.....only wish I had more patience back then.....I have it now when I don't need it so much........:-)Hugs
