I'm a big fan of Barbara Kingsolver too, and quite enjoyed "Prodigal Summer". "The Dance of the Dissident Daughter" sounds intriguing - I'll have to check it out.Heather Pletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01975795000759157299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6999214.post-1115136323473346062005-05-03T12:05:00.000-04:002005-05-03T12:05:00.000-04:00We like the same writers! It was fun to take it and run with it for awhile.

Lynn
I finally got this book through the inter-library loan service, and didn't want to give it back, so I now have my own copy! Thank you Cuppa, for accepting the stick.

I just loved thinking of you as a young girl playing Maid Marian, although I can see that times have changed! :)

As for the dictionary, good choice. I wish I had thought of that one, it would have been even better than my Complete Works of Shakespeare.

I am not really big on poetry though, I suffered through the Romantic period. I thought they were all long-winded. I like e.e. cummings, Robert Frost, and Ogden Nash, even though a lot of people don't consider him a serious poet.

Enough about me. Thanks again, Cuppa!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604097511444010759noreply@blogger.com
